EXCITEMENT, RHYTHM AND TECHNOLOGY: SEAT PRESENTS TWO EXCLUSIVE VERSIONS OF THE IBIZA AND ARONA WITH BEATSAUDIO SOUND
    • SEAT and Beats by Dr. Dre – two brands sharing the same values
    • Ibiza and Arona Beats: two new versions fitted with an outstanding BeatsAudio sound
    • Both models also come with interior and exterior details which make them even more unique

Urban with a young spirit. That is exactly what the new SEAT Ibiza and Arona are, just like Beats by Dr. Dre, a brand that has changed the way people listen to music. SEAT and Beats started their collaboration last year, offering BeatsAudio as an option for various models of the range – Mii, Ibiza, Leon, Arona and Ateca. Now the collaboration between SEAT and Beats takes another step forward with the launch of two exclusive versions of its most youthful and urban models: the Ibiza and the Arona Beats.

The SEAT Ibiza and Arona Beats will be presented to the public for the first time during Primavera Sound, a leading music festival of which SEAT is a strategic partner. Through this alliance with Primavera Sound, SEAT strengthens its commitment to music and its ties with its hometown, Barcelona, where the carmaker also participates at world-level events such as the Mobile World Congress and the Smart City Congress.

The Ibiza and Arona Beats will come with a number of aesthetic details and unique features, as well as a premium sound system so that you can listen to your favourite music as if you were in the studio together with your favourite artists.

To start with, the standard equipment package will include the Full Link system (MirrorLink, Android Auto and CarPlay) to connect your smartphone and your car in the quickest and most efficient way. The Ibiza and Arona Beats will also feature the new SEAT Digital Cockpit, the interactive display which can be fully customised by the driver via the multifunctional wheel or via the infotainment system to suit the preferences of the driver.

The Ibiza and Arona Beats will also feature LED DRL (Daytime Running Lights) and Full-LED headlights, exclusively designed seats, fog lights grill and chrome window mouldings. Inside the car, you will be welcomed by the new illuminated sill plates specifically designed for the Ibiza and Arona Beats, as well as by the outstanding ambient light now in orange and white. These will all be exclusive features of the Ibiza and Arona Beats, which are distinguished by the BeatsAudio logo on the boot.

Other SEAT Ibiza and Arona Beats signatures will be the Eclipse Orange wing mirrors, a colour that will also be present on the Ibiza’s fog lights. Inside, the radio frame, the gearbox, steering wheel and handbrake stitching will also come in Eclipse Orange. The interior door panels will come in Ice Metal, as well as the console (only in the Arona).

These two models will be available with a brand new colour: Magnetic Tech. The total range of five colours will be complemented by: Eclipse Orange, Urban Silver, Midnight Black and Nevada White. The Arona Beats will also be available with three two-tone options based on Nevada White with the roof in Midnight Black, Eclipse Orange or Magnetic Tech.

The BeatsAudio premium sound system which equips the Ibiza and Arona Beats comes with an 8 channel, 300-watt amplifier, digital signal processor and 7 premium speakers. These include two tweeters in the A pillars, two woofers in the front doors, two wide-band speakers in the rear, and an integrated subwoofer in the spare wheel.

The SEAT Ibiza Beats will be available with three petrol and three diesel versions. The petrol range will start with the 1.0 MPI 75 PS, and will continue with the 3 cylinder 1.0 TSI, available with 95 or 115 PS. All of the petrol versions are available with a manual gearbox, and in addition, the 115 PS version can also be paired with a dual-clutch DSG transmission. For the diesel offer, the SEAT Ibiza Beats will be offered with the 1.6 TDI in 80, 95 and 110 PS versions. All of these diesel engines are available with a manual gearbox; the 95 PS version is also available with a seven-speed DSG.

As for the Arona Beats, the petrol offer will start with the 1.0 TSI 95 PS, which is linked to a five-speed manual gearbox. Next will be the 1.0 TSI 115 PS version, which comes with a six-speed manual gearbox or the dual-clutch seven-speed DSG transmission. For diesel options, the efficient and reliable 1.6 TDI will be available with 95 and 115 PS.  The 95 PS version can be paired with a five-speed manual transmission or the seven-speed DSG, and the 115 PS with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Ibiza and Arona Beats will be launched in the last quarter of 2018.
