eCall** is a potentially life-saving feature that’s designed to reduce the time between a serious accident occurring and assistance being provided by the emergency services, and launches on the All-New Ford Focus. If an accident were to occur, FordPass Connect can automatically place an eCall to the emergency services and will provide them with where your vehicle is located. In addition, you can also press an SOS button in your car to contact the emergency services directly if you witness an accident or require emergency assistance.

Start your car’s engine using your phone from the comfort of your home, office, or anywhere when your vehicle has an automatic transmission. Cold and frosty mornings are taken care of as you can ensure your car is de-iced, warm and ready to go when you are. Don’t worry that your car will not be safe, this feature automatically locks the doors whilst the engine is on, and the vehicle will still require your key before it can be driven away.
Using the FordPass app, you can now lock and unlock your vehicle remotely. If you cannot remember if you'd locked the doors or not, or if you need to let someone access your vehicle, but you can’t physically meet them in person, then you can unlock the doors with a tap of the app. Once finished, simply tap it again to lock.
