The SEAT Leon Cross Sport Show Car

SEAT have re-defined sports performance with the unveiling of the SEAT Leon Cross Sport at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The Leon Cross Sport combines a coupé-like appearance with the versatility of all-wheel drive and the powerful dynamics of a sports model.

• The athletic performance of the Leon Cross Sport follows from the recently uprated Leon CUPRA 290. The crowd-pleasing engine of the Leon CUPRA, which has achievements such as record laps of the Nürburing Nordschleife, has been further improved for the Leon Cross Sport. The state-of-the-art, two-litre TSI engine of the Leon Cross Sport is highly responsive and has an impressive 380 Nm of maximum torque available from just 1800 rpm.

  This crossover aims to bring fresh ideas to the SEAT range, “...We are testing out a new idea,” says Jürgen Stackmann, Chairman of SEAT's executive committee, “The performance of the Leon CUPRA with the many possibilities offered by an all-road vehicle.”

  The design features of the Leon Cross Sport are as impressive as its engine. Taking inspiration from the Barcelona sun, the show car is painted in ultra orange, matched by the stitching of the leather seats. This new car is complete with SEAT’s full link connection for great connectivity on the road.
