Jaguar XE all wheel drive

Redefining the new Jaguar XE – four-wheel drive comes to the already most advanced sports saloon ever produced by Jaguar.

• All Wheel Drive (AWD) and Intelligent Driveline Dynamics (IDD) are now available to order on new Jaguar XEs with the 178bhp 2.0-litre Ingenium diesel engine and eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox. In normal driving conditions, the Jaguar XE is fully rear-wheel drive. However, when the going gets slippery, XE can respond in just 165 milliseconds, distributing the torque equally between the front and back wheels, providing optimum traction. There’s also the option of moving 90% of the torque to the front wheels to deal with variable road conditions. With Adaptive Surface Response and All Surface Progress Control as well, the Jaguar XE feels like it’s welded to the road.
